Canada Media Fund

The Canada Media Fund (CMF) is a public‑private partnership established by the Government of Canada and the Canadian cable and broadcast industry to support the creation, development, financing, and promotion of Canadian television and digital media content. Founded in 2010, the CMF channels contributions from broadcasters and federal funding into programs that help Canadian producers and creators innovate, compete globally, and bring diverse voices and stories to screens across the country and around the world.
